Why use
Functional Medicine Lab Testing?
As an Integrative Health Practitioner, my mission is to help you—whether you're preparing for pregnancy, navigating postpartum, or simply looking for better health & increased energy – to discover and correct the root causes of imbalance in the body.
True healing starts with understanding your unique biochemistry and current internal imbalances and toxicities.
These simple at home, non-invasive tests show us what is currently going on inside your body.
Testing can show us gut health, mineral & vitamin deficiencies, detox capacity, hormone function, stress levels, and much more.
No two people are alike, so these labs help us create a
bio-individualized plan that brings your body back into balance—naturally and effectively.

Meet the Labs
-
A hair sample shows your mineral levels and toxic metals released for the past 3-4 months. With just a small sample, we can uncover:
Key mineral imbalances
Adrenal and stress response patterns
Hidden heavy metal toxicity
Why it matters:
Minerals are the building blocks of life. We are made of and run on minerals. When we have deficiencies or imbalances our functions can begin to falter and when our bodies can no longer keep up we start seeing symptoms such as lethargy, foggy thinking, dizziness, lower immunity and sluggish metabolism. -
This powerful at-home urine test offers insight into over 70 key biomarkers, making it one of the most comprehensive functional lab tests available. It helps uncover:
Yeast and fungal overgrowth (like Candida)
Bacterial imbalances in the gut
Mitochondrial (energy) function
Neurotransmitter metabolites
Detoxification and antioxidant status
B-vitamin and nutrient deficiencies
Inflammation and oxalate levels
Why it matters:
The OAT gives a wide-angle view of your body's internal function—from gut and brain chemistry to energy production and detox capacity. Whether you're dealing with fatigue, mood issues, skin flare-ups, poor focus, or chronic symptoms with no clear cause, this test helps reveal hidden imbalances that standard labs often miss. -
Your hormones help tell the story of how your body is coping with life, specifically your:
stress, sleep, mood, & metabolism.
With just a simple at-home saliva and blood spot test, we can uncover:Adrenal health and cortisol patterns
Thyroid function
(TSH, T4, T3)Sex hormone balance (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA)
Blood sugar levels
Why it matters:
Your thyroid, adrenals, and hormones all work together to keep you feeling energized, balanced, and emotionally stable. When one system is out of sync, it often impacts the others.
This test is a powerful tool for identifying root causes of fatigue, weight changes, mood swings, and hormone-related symptoms—so we can start rebalancing at the source. -
A simple at-home blood spot test reveals your omega-6 to omega-3 balance and your AA/EPA ratio—key markers of inflammation over the past few months. This helps uncover:
Omega‑6:omega‑3 ratio
AA (arachidonic acid) to EPA ratio
Why it matters:
These fatty acids play critical roles in inflammatory pathways. An ideal ratio (around 3:1–5:1 for omega‑6:3; AA:EPA 3:1 or better) supports better heart health, mood, immunity, and metabolic function. Imbalances can lead to fatigue, brain fog, hormonal disruption, and systemic inflammation -
An easy at-home blood spot test screens your IgG response to 190 of the most common foods, pinpointing mild to moderate sensitivities and even giving insight into potential yeast or candida overgrowth.
Why it matters:
Identifying and eliminating reactive foods can reduce inflammation and soothe symptoms such as itchy skin, headaches, joint stiffness, low mood, brain fog, or muscle weakness -
This at-home urine test evaluates the key neurotransmitters that influence your mood, focus, motivation, sleep, and stress resilience. It helps uncover:
Levels of serotonin, dopamine, GABA, norepinephrine, epinephrine, and glutamate
Imbalances contributing to anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, and poor sleep
Insight into brain chemistry behind symptoms like burnout, mood swings, and foggy thinking
Why it matters:
Your brain and body communicate through chemical messengers—when those messengers are out of balance, so is everything else. This test offers a data-backed look at your emotional and neurological health, giving you the starting point for restoring calm, clarity, and resilience. -
This simple at-home urine test detects 11 common mycotoxins from over 40 types of mold—offering powerful insight into toxic exposure that could be driving chronic symptoms. It helps uncover:
Environmental and food-borne mold exposure
Presence of specific mycotoxins like Ochratoxin, Aflatoxin, Gliotoxin
Potential detox overload or immune suppression
Why it matters:
Mold toxicity often goes unnoticed yet can deeply impact your energy, mood, sleep, hormones, and immunity. Symptoms like congestion, fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, and sensitivity to smells may all stem from chronic mold exposure. -
This comprehensive at-home stool test offers a deep look into your gut microbiome, pathogens, and digestive function. It helps uncover:
Bacterial imbalances (dysbiosis)
Yeast and fungal overgrowth (including Candida)
Parasites like Giardia, Blastocystis hominis, Cryptosporidium
Pathogens like H. pylori
Digestive markers like inflammation, enzyme levels, and immune response
Why it matters:
Gut health impacts everything—from mood and energy to skin, hormones, and immunity. If you struggle with bloating, cravings, fatigue, constipation, anxiety, or even food sensitivities, this test helps you identify the root causes—so you can begin to rebalance from within.

Hi, I’m Jessica!
Jessica Aubinoe, IHP3
Integrative Health Practitioner
My journey into integrated health began six months postpartum after my second child. I was struggling: 30+ extra pounds of stubborn weight, neuropathy, brain fog, and persistent skin rashes.
Frustrated, I tried piecing together advice from countless podcasts, but nothing gave me a clear path forward.
Then, I found my path and became a certified Integrated Health Practitioner, and I’m so glad I did! It completely transformed how I understand health, my body, and how I view the world around me.
We are all given beautiful, intelligent bodies, yet so many of us are unknowingly led toward poor health. The first steps that changed everything for me were running functional medicine at-home lab tests and following a 21-Day Elimination Diet.
Fast forward and now I am a Level 3 Integrative Health Practitioner, continuing my wellness journey and helping others do the same.
My mission is to:
Empower women to prepare for birth and heal postpartum in ways I wish I had known to.
Support others in reclaiming their health so they can live a Happy Healthy life!

As an IHP, I do not treat, diagnose or cure diseases.
I help reduce toxicities and rebalance your body to build health from within.
